Très bon logiciel dont je me sers plusieurs fois par jour et qui ne plante jamais. Lors de son passage sur l'AppStore, son prix a été très fortement revu à la baisse : raison de plus pour l'utiliser.

Et Apple a supprimé la gestion de l'IPv6 de l'Utilitaire Airport v6 (celui destiné à Lion)... cherchez la logique là dedans!

Pour le Moment timbuktu fonctionne mieux que les logiciels Apple.

Dommage car l'install d'un package sur un Parc dans ARD est Geniale !

Ce qu'il manque, dans ARD, c'est la possibilité de lancer la mise à jour système sur plusieurs machines en même temps.

Et comme l'indique Lounmoutef, la chute de prix suite à sa disponibilité en fait un outil fabuleux à prix très abordable, pour gérer un parc Mac.

@Abinoz : le glissé-déposé d’un bureau distant vers un bureau local (et vice-versa) marche très bien : je m’en suis encore servi aujourd’hui en assistance technique avec mes parents.

Le glissé déposé et les mises a jour systèmes de plusieurs postes marche parfaitement.

Timbuktu… je vois pas trop ce qu'il peut apporter à un administrateur de parc Mac par rapport à ARD.

Judge penalizes Samsung for failing to produce source code in Apple infringement trial

United States District Court Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal has granted Apple its requested Motion for Sanctions, penalizing Samsung for refusing to provide evidence in a timely fashion.

Apple requested the court sanction Samsung in March, arguing that Samsung has repeatedly failed to produce documents and source code ordered by the court, and that theses delays were creating an onerous burden because of the time consuming analysis of Samsung's continually changing Android code made asserting any claims of patent infringement a "moving target."

Two weeks ago, Samsung was found by the same judge to be in violation of a court order requiring the firm to product documents mentioning Apple's products, evidence Apple plans to use to prove that Samsung willfully infringed upon its designs. This resulted in a fine.

Now, Samsung's delay tactics have resulted in an additional and more serious rebuke by Judge Grewal, who ordered that "Samsung's failure to adequately produce source code to Apple violated the court's December 22 Order," as reported by Florian Mueller of FOSS Patents.

The source code was supposed to document how Samsung had worked around design or technical elements Apple had patented, including the "overscroll bounce" described in U.S. Patent No. 7,469,381.

Instead of producing this evidence, which could be used to help Samsung's case (but could also be used by Apple to prove additional or continued infringement) the company chose instead to keep Apple and the court waiting.

Attorneys for the iPhone maker argued that it was "too late for Apple to make meaningful use of any late produced source code" from Samsung, and petitioned the judge to ban Samsung from "relying on or in any way using the source code it failed to timely produce under the December 22, 2011 order."

iPad tablet market share will dip to 50% by 2017, study says

Market research firm NPD estimates that Apple's share of the tablet space will dwindle to just over 50 percent by 2017, while Android and Windows-based devices will begin continue to eat into the iPad's overwhelming lead by 2014.

The findings were reported in NPD Group subsidiary DisplaySearch's Tablet Quarterly on Thursday which estimates that the overall tablet market will swell from 81.6 million units in 2011 to 424.9 million units by 2017.

The report notes that worldwide tablet shipments will surpass those of notebooks by 2016 driven by an increasing set of features, operating system diversity and manufacturing capacity.

“So far in this relatively young product category, the tablet PC market has been dominated by Apple and has tended to include a number of competing products that are similarly configured to the iPad,” said NPD DisplaySearch Senior Analyst Richard Shim. “However, as the market matures and competitors become better attuned to consumer preferences and find opportunities to break new ground, we expect the landscape to change dramatically, giving consumers more choices, which will drive demand for more devices.”

One of the main differentiators between the variety of tablets currently and the proposed future is which operating system is used, and thus far Apple's iOS has dominated the space since its introduction in 2010.

As of the first quarter of 2012, research firm IDC saw the iPad as owning 68 percent share of the entire tablet market.

NPD expects that Apple's share will fall from 72.1 percent in 2012 to reach 50.9 percent in 2017, while Android and Windows RT tablet shipments will grow from 22.5 percent to 40.5 percent and 1.5 percent to 7.5 percent, respectively.

The findings are slightly different than recent numbers posted by Gartner that said the iPad will have less than a 50 percent share of the market by 2016.

Pas faire cela poste, par poste, en prenant les commandes à distance. Si vous savez comment faire cela, je suis intéressé. Merci.

@Avenger Pour faire des mises à jour sur plusieurs machines, tu sélectionnes ces dernières dans ta liste, puis tu vas dans Manage > Send UNIX command. Puis dans les Templates > MIscellaneous, tu trouves "Install all software updates" ainsi que d'autres commandes utiles. Il faut lancer la commande en utilisateur root. Ca marche parfaitement, je le fais plusieurs fois par année sur 300 machines. Il faut penser à les redémarrer après...
